Duty-free shop or sales clerk in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province 
○ (Job Description)

① Draft sales plans and engage in direct sales to increase exports and expand sales to foreigners at duty-free shops, etc.                                  ② Work at commercial facilities such as food service establishments or  stores in Jeju English Education City to commercialize English. Persons engaged in sales work                                                                                                                                                                                                                 ③ Persons engaged in Korean interpretation and sales work at restaurants in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province

○ (Examples of jobs that can be introduced)

Sales clerk at duty-free stores, sales clerk at exemption sales points for foreign tourists, sales worker at commercial facilities such as food service establishments or stores in Jeju English Education City, interpreter/sales clerk at restaurants in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.

(Sales clerk qualification requirements by type)
① Duty-free shop, duty-free shop for foreign tourists
i) A person with at least 3 years of experience as a tour guide at a travel agency, etc.
ii) More than 3 years of experience as a duty-free shop sales clerk
iii) More than 3 years of experience as a tour guide + duty-free shop sales clerk
iv) Graduate (expected) from a domestic college or higher (regardless of major, regardless of experience)
v) Graduate of a 4-year overseas university (bachelor’s degree) or higher (regardless of major, regardless of experience)

② Commercial facilities in Jeju English Education City:                                                                                                                                                                       Parents of international school students or family members of faculty and staff, graduates
of our overseas school aged 18 or older

③ Restaurants in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province: Those who meet one of the following requirements:
i) Holders of level 2 or higher in the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) administered by the National Institute for International Education
ii) Those who have completed level 2 or higher of the Social Integration Program (KIIP)
iiii) A person who has completed a regular course of at least 2 years at a domestic college or higher educational institution
iv) A person who has completed a regular Korean language training course (D-4-1) at a domestic university for more than 6 months and obtained a level 1 or higher on the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK)
