A person who manufactures and assembles aircraft and parts* and performs duties such as painting and sheet metal.

1. Aircraft structure assembler

Using an assembly jig (a tool used to fix parts when processing them), the aircraft skin is assembled through tasks such as drilling (making holes) and fastening (the work of joining parts using fasteners such as rivets, bolts, nuts, etc.). As a worker who completes the work of completing the airframe structure (skeleton) by assembling the skin or frame, – looking at the work performed – prepares the work after checking the work instructions, process specifications, and design drawings. (Check the condition of the assembly jig after preparing the parts, tools, and materials to be assembled) / Fix the parts forming the airframe structure (skeleton) to the jig and install the parts through drilling and fastening work according to work instructions, process specifications, and design drawings. Perform sealing (filling with sealant) work on necessary areas such as fastening assembly, joints between parts, and outer skin space / Check the external condition of the completed airframe structure (skeleton) and correct abnormal areas.

In relation to this, the main skills required for workers are the ability to check the condition of the sealant after curing, the ability to perform sealing work according to the process, the fastening technology according to specifications, the ability to inspect the function of parts, and finishing after measuring resistance. 2. Aircraft mechanical processing technician

The job of a worker who performs machining into the required size and shape by cutting and removing unnecessary parts from the material such as metal or composite material using machine tools or automated equipment to match the dimensions is – Design drawing of the metal workpiece to be processed. Check the work instructions and process specifications and prepare the work to be performed (check the status of the machining jig after preparing the parts to be processed and the necessary tools). Measure and check the dimensions of the prepared parts to be processed and process them using machine tools or automation equipment. A worker who uses equipment/facilities for sheet metal forming or performs it manually at the site. Tasks / Check the design drawings, work instructions, and process specifications of the metal workpiece to be processed and prepare the work to be performed (check the status of the machining jig after preparing the parts to be processed and the necessary tools) / Measure and confirm the dimensions of the prepared parts to be processed Use a jig to fix the part to be processed on a machine tool or automated equipment and attach the necessary tools / Adjust the machine tool or automated equipment to set and check cutting speed, feed rate, cutting depth, etc. / Check the dimensions of the product during processing. 4. Aircraft (parts) painter
A worker who cleans surfaces and performs painting using painting equipment to prevent corrosion of aircraft surfaces, individual metal parts, composite parts, finished products, and equipment, and to decorate the exterior. The tasks performed are – work instructions, process, etc. Check specifications and design drawings and prepare for work (check the preparation status of items to be painted, tools and materials) / Move aircraft or parts to the painting room and take safety measures / Check the surface of the item to be painted and corrode in accordance with work instructions , thoroughly remove moisture and other contaminants, fill grooves or cracks on the surface within the range allowed by the process specifications, and perform masking (blocking areas that do not need painting using tape, etc.) when necessary / sprayer, roller, etc. Operate to check the spray amount and spraying condition, then adjust to the requirements of the process specifications / Operate the device automatically and manually and apply paint to the designated surface / Primer before painting (applied to the base to increase corrosion resistance and paint adhesion) After the specified time has elapsed, apply the paint specified in the design drawing with a spray to a certain thickness and dry it according to the requirements (if necessary, reapply camouflage paint on the paint) / Put the painted product in the dryer and follow the process specifications. 5.Aerospace composite material processing engineer

The process of creating the shape of a part by laminating prepreg on a tool (mold) using automatic laminating equipment or by hand, curing it in a high-temperature pressure vessel (autoclave), and then turning the hardened composite part into a product through a processing process (trim, etc.). It refers to a material made by using two or more materials to take advantage of the characteristics of each material, taking advantage of each other’s strengths and compensating for the weaknesses. Aviation composite materials are mainly made of carbon or glass fiber reinforcement and resin (resin, A prepreg (a sheet-shaped intermediate material in which fibers are pre-impregnated with resin) manufactured using a combination of base materials is used. Looking at the work details, check the work instructions, process specifications, and design drawings and prepare the work to be performed (tools and materials). The tasks performed include document inspection, visual inspection, and size measurement. , using testing tools such as analyzers. Upon request, we perform 3D measurement and dimensional inspection, as well as inspection using ultrasonic waves to determine internal defects in composite materials.
